What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues?

Our ceremony is located at St. Anne's Catholic Church (120 Ela Street, Barrington, Illinois). There is a parking lot adjacent to the church, as well as another parking lot beside the school. If necessary, street parking will also be available. Our reception is located at The BRIX on the Fox (260 Washington Street, Carpentersville, Illinois). It is about a 20 minute drive from the ceremony to the reception venue. There is a large parking lot directly behind the venue which we have full access to. When facing the building from the back, our reception will take place in the door on the left side. There will be signage that reads "The 260."

What's the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue(s)?

We will be providing shuttle service between the hotel and the venue. Specific shuttle times with be provided at a later time. There is ample parking, so driving is an option as well.

Is there parking available near your wedding venue(s)?

For guests within driving distance, there is free on-site parking at both the church and the venue.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Both the ceremony and reception will take place indoors.

What's the best airport to use?

O'Hare International Airport (ORD) is the closest airport. The hotel will be easily accessible from ORD via taxi, public transit or ride share.

What's the dress code for your wedding?

Our dress code is formal. A suit or sport coat for men. An evening gown, midi-length dress, or nice cocktail length dress for ladies.

Are there any colors or styles you'd prefer me to wear?

Kindly choose wedding attire in neutral tones, pastels, and muted colors, as this will best fit the character we have curated for our wedding day.

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

If you are given a plus-one, we will have indicated on your invitation, listed as a "Guest." Otherwise, the name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Anyone that knows Sophia knows she absolutely loves children, but due to the venue size and nature of the event, we cannot accommodate children under age 18 who are not listed on the invitation.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entree. There will be a beef, chicken, and vegetarian option available. Other dietary restrictions can be made upon request.

Will there be an open bar?

There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

The doors to the venue will open one hour ahead of our ceremony time at 3:00pm. We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue about 30 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to park and find a seat prior to the start.

What time will your wedding reception end?

Our reception will end at 12:00, when lights will turn on and last song will play. Transportation via shuttle will be provided back to the hotel at this time.

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

There will be a brief gap between the ceremony and the reception while the bride and groom are taking pictures with their families. A local tap house will be open to guests as a cash bar between the ceremony and the reception, located about 2 minutes walking distance from the venue.
